Get Up Early!

But success in business is only one part of it. Healthy habits, such as exercise, make you more productive when done early in the day. Following these simple steps can help you to ease into getting up earlier:
Do it gradually – If you don’t normally get up until 8, then don’t force yourself to jump to 6 in the morning all at once or you’ll be cranky! Los Angeles personal trainers recommend easing into it by waking yourself up about 15 minutes earlier each day until you get to the target time.
Don’t hit snooze – The alarm clock isn’t your nemesis but the snooze button is. To keep the temptation away, set your alarm on the other side of the room so you must get out of bed to turn it off.
Get excited – The night before you’re going to start getting up a bit earlier, think about the first thing you’ll do in the morning. This will help to build excitement and get your day started on the right foot.
Drink Water
This may seem like a simple suggestion, but proper hydration is essential to your health and wellness. “Drinking enough water is one of the most important things you can do for your health,” says Los Angeles personal trainer Lalo Fuentes, CSCS, “It nourishes your body, helping to boost metabolism and energy.”
Buy a nice water bottle and keep it with you all day so you can take sips all day long. You should aim to drink not eight glasses of water each day, but half of your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 140 pounds, then aim for 70 ounces of water each day. There are even phone apps you can download to help.
Exercise
Of course, exercise is important to health, but how do you make it a habit? According to personal trainer Lalo Fuentes, you need to workout in the morning. If you can get up and get your exercise out of the way first thing, then you can avoid making excuses all day long not to get to the gym.
The secret is to prepare the night before by packing your gym bag before bed, creating a breakfast that is ready to go as you walk out the door, and mixing up your gym routine so you don’t get bored. Personal trainers also recommend making yourself accountable by signing up for a group fitness class or for sessions with a personal trainer.
